Panel Discussion

On October 23, WIECan hosted a panel discussion on “The ABCs of Getting to the C-Suite” in its first joint event with Womens’ Infrastructure Network (WIN) which was graciously sponsored by RBC Capital Markets at their Toronto office.

The panelists were: Nuria Haltiwanger, CEO of ACS Infrastructure North America, Alina Osorio, President of Fiera Infrastructure and Patti Shugart, Managing Director and Head – Corporate Banking & Global Credit of RBC Capital Markets.

The discussion was moderated by Vickie Turnbull, Managing Director and Co-Head of Infrastructure Finance Canada of RBC Capital Markets. The event “sold out” very quickly with ~80 women attending to listen and participate through the Q&A. The discussion topics were varied and free flowing as the panelists shared their own personal anecdotes and approaches to career challenges that propelled them to the top of their firms and fields of expertise. By all accounts, it was a very informative evening with takeaways for all to consider and implement.
